FITNEST ATTENDANT
Highpoint is growing, and we are looking for someone to work with us in the FitNest. The FitNest attendant ensures a safe physical environment and is responsible for the safety of the children in the FitNest. They engage with the children in age-appropriate activities, create a positive and nurturing atmosphere, and maintain a clean environment. This involves participating in play, encouraging interaction, and fostering creativity and exploration.
MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT (APPRENTICE POSITION)
Work alongside our Director of Maintenance to learn day-to-day functions to keep Highpoint looking and running at its best! This job would entail a variety of duties, including general housekeeping, maintaining equipment and the aquatics area, minor painting and mechanical repairs, just to name a few. Some basic experience is preferred but not required.
AQUA FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Have you ever noticed how full our Aqua Classes are? And how everyone in there seems to be having fun? We’re looking for another instructor to add to our team! This person would design and instruct safe and effective Aquatics Fitness Classes, in conjunction with Aquatic Certification Guidelines, for participants of all ages and ability levels. We do require an Aquatic Fitness Instructor certification and can help guide you through that process if you do not have one already. Current CPR and First Aid Certifications are also required.
PERSONAL TRAINER

We are currently seeking a part time Certified Personal Trainer to join our team! The successful
candidate will promote Highpoint’s values through fitness and wellness training and initiatives. Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, have a
commitment to fitness, wellness and continuous learning. It will be vital to showcase a positive
attitude, follow company guidelines and training to elevate the club experience for our members.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform Fitness Startup assessments to identify and evaluate members’ physical readiness and personal goals.
- Develop safe, structured, motivational programs designed to meet individual
client/member goals and needs. - Coach clients through proper execution of exercises and movement recommendations.
- Assist members with proper use of equipment.
- Consult with physicians when necessary for a medical clearance.
- Assists members on the fitness floor.
- Maintain fitness area/equipment maintenance.
Job Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, Physiology or related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Personal training certification through a nationally accredited organization, including, but
not limited to: NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA. - Maintain the required number of CEUs (continuing education units) and stay current with educational requirements to ensure a high-quality instruction.
- Previous personal training experience is preferred.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- PA Clearances.

- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge and passion for the fitness industry and relationship building within the health and fitness space.
- Highly proficient in utilizing various exercise equipment and personal training methodologies, adapting them to meet clients’ specific needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively and have a willingness to continue learning and meet educational requirements.
- Adaptability to meet changing requests and client needs.
